Dr. Ade Lawal is a seasoned entrepreneur, trainer, and leader in agricultural enterprise development and management, with over 25 years of private sector management experience. A graduate of Mathematics from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, he has built an illustrious career spanning banking, energy, marketing, real estate, and agriculture.

Dr. Lawal owns and operates a leading agricultural training institute, achieving landmark successes in youth empowerment through agriculture. He is currently the Managing Director/CEO of Transtel Services and Supplies Limited and serves as President of the Board of Trustees for the Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Empowerment (CSAE).

His previous leadership roles include:

• MD/CEO, Syntegra Energy Limited (Feb 2012 – Nov 2014)
• MD/CEO, First Amalgamated Building Society Limited (Mortgage Bankers) (Jun 2009 – Jan 2012)
• MD/CEO, Simple Trust International Limited (Jul 2008 – Jun 2009)
• Over 10 years in banking, culminating as Regional Business Executive at Intercontinental Bank PLC before voluntarily retiring in June 2008.

Dr. Lawal is highly invested in professional and leadership development. He is a graduate of the Agribusiness Management Program (Lagos Business School, 2016) and the International Leadership Master (Institute of Leadership and Global Education, UK, 2014). He is also an alumnus of the Owners Manager Program (Lagos Business School, 2010), the Executive Development Program (Wharton Business School, USA, 2008), and the Transformational Leadership Programme (CEED International, Johannesburg, 2009), among others.

A Fellow of the Institute of Strategic Management of Nigeria and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, Dr. Lawal holds a Ph.D. in Educational Management from Al-Hikmah University, Nigeria.

He is happily married and blessed with children.
